MASSAI VILLAGE Just outside Serengeti are a number of Massai villages and your guide will probably ask if you want to see any of them, we had to go of course. It is an interesting experience to see and hear how the Massai people live and get by but bare this in mind: The Massai village you will get to visit is commercialized and you will have to pay a fee to get in and they will do anything to get you to buy their souvenirs, it is the same souvenirs that you can get anywhere else but the price is about 10 times as high and they claim it was hand made in their village.
