NAMCHE ̶ LUKLA Last day of the trek, and it was another long day. We were going pretty fast downwards, crossing the Dude Koshi river several times, same way we got up here. Our lunch break was in Phakding where we spent our first night. It felt like so much more time has passed since we were there last time. After Phakding 2600m, the trail went up again to Lukla 2800m. The last piece of trail felt so very long and we just wanted to reach our final destination at this point. It was so great when we did. Almost felt like summiting a mountain. In Lukla we had a last dinner with our guides and porters and collected tip for them. We stayed close to the airport and left early the next morning for Kathmandu.
