USA SOUTH WEST & NEW YORK This was our second USA road trip, the idea was to drive around in a circle in the south west and try to see some of the things we didn't have time for the last time around. This is roughly how it went: We started with a few days in New York before flying west to pick up out car, then we drove: Los Angeles -> Santa Barbara -> Monterey -> San Fransisco -> Lake Tahoe -> Death valley -> Las Vegas -> Zion N.P. -> Bryce Canyon N.P. -> Glen Canyon -> Monument Valley -> Page AZ -> Grand Canyon -> Sedona -> Flagstaff -> Slab City -> Joshua Tree N.P. -> Palm Springs -> San Diego -> Los Angeles. Car: Ford Mustang convertible. PRACTICAL When to go: All year, summer might get you some hot days inland, we went in July. Getting there: There are a lot of international airports all around. Money: USD. Other: It is cheaper to rent a car if you return it in the same location.
