USA, WESTERN STATES
This was our first trip to USA so we wanted to see it all, we searched the world wide web for sights and things we wanted to see and tried to come up with a route that could cover as many of these attractions as possible in 3 ½ weeks. Most of the things we found was located in the western part of the country so we started to plot our journey from there. This is roughly what we came up with.
Started from Los Angeles we drove to Las Vegas - Hoover dam - Grand Canyon - Monument Valley - Arches National Park - Grand Teton National park - Yellowstone - Seattle and all the way back to Los Angeles driving along the west coast visiting Redwood, San Francisco, Highway 1, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles. This drive was more than 8000 km. We made a stopover in New York on the way back. PRACTICAL
When to go: All year, summer might get you some hot days inland, we went in July.
Getting there: There are a lot of international airports all around.
Money: USD.
Other: It is cheaper to rent a car if you return it in the same location.
