ALONA BEACH Alona Beach is located on the small island of Panglao outside the bigger island of Bohol just east of Cebu, getting here is pretty easy with a 2 hour boat ride from Cebu. The beach is around 800m with loads of restaurants, bars, dive shops and resorts in a wide price range. You can expect a lot tourist here, the usual sales persons and massage ladies as well. But we enjoyed our stay very much, getting great food and visiting a lot of nice bars along the beach. They had a huge firework for new year's eve which was amazing to watch from the beach. A typical day on Alona Beach: -Go for breakfast somewhere along the beach. -Get ready for one or two dives before lunch. -Find a nice restaurant on the beach. -Relax on the beach or around the pool. -Happy hour… -Go for another restaurant.
