ASAKUSA Located in the eastern part of Tokyo, Asakusa offers some great shopping, it’s a good place if you are going for kitchen equipment, knives and more. The main attraction here is the beautiful Buddhist temple Sensō-ji, Tokyo's oldest temple, dedicated to the bodhisattva Kannon. The crowded street going towards the temple is lined with souvenir shops and traditional food stands.
