DIVING CENOTES DOS OJOS Yucatan is famous for Cenotes, they are usually holes in the jungle with water in them, some of the go quite deep and far and are good for diving, the water is usually very clear. We visited Dos Ojos (Two Eyes) 20 minutes from Tulum for 2 dives, one in each eye. Our guide picked us up at our hotel and drove us there in a jeep, getting down to the cenote was easy, and a guide is required when diving a cenote. Dos Ojos goes quite far in under the jungle and the passages were quite narrow at some times but never claustrophobic, the depth was no more than 12 meters. You can go diving here with a regular dive certificate, snorkeling is also nice.
