ICELAND SOUTH After arriving a few hours late to Keflavik airport we got off to a hectic first day. Getting our car, buying supplies and getting out on the road takes more time than you think. We started driving south east along the coast heading for the small town of Vik to spend our first night. Two very nice waterfalls were on the way, Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss, we got to see them pretty late at night and we arrived in Vik around 1 am, sun was still up. Next day we drove around Vik visiting Reynisfjara beach also called Black beach, Dyrhólaey - a big arc in the ocean, weather was terrible but the pictures came out nice. We continued on the Road 1 towards the great glacier Vatnajökull visiting the very nice Fjadrargljufur Canyon.
