TEL AVIV Culture / Relaxing ISRAEL Traveling to Israel can be very rewarding, there is a lot to see and experience and most of it is within a bus ride. We went to Tel Aviv for 7 days and Jerusalem for 3 days and took 2 bus tours during those days. PRACTICAL When to go: Spring is nice with moderate temperatures, summer might get too hot. We went in late May, early June. Getting there: Ben Gurion International airport outside Tel Aviv will get you close to Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Money: Shekel, major credit cards are Ok in shopping malls and so on.
