JERUSALEM A historical city, to say the least, Jerusalem is a must see if you are at all interested in historical places of great significance. We started outside the Old Town going to the Mount of Olives and the Chapel of Ascension (described later in “The Jesus Tour”) and the City of David, speculated to be the original settlement of Bronze and Iron Age Jerusalem. The Old town is of course a must see, with the Temple mount, Dome of the Rock (golden dome), Western wall, Al-Aqsa Mosque (Black dome), Church of the Holy Sepulchre and much more. But The Old Town is also like a big market with lots of people and thousands of little stores selling tourist crap, this part is not that fun.
