KUALA LUMPUR Kuala Lumpur is one of our favourite Asian cities. It is as beautiful and clean as Singapore and as cheap as Bangkok, and there are a lot of things to see and do in and around the city. KL is a hub when traveling in Southeast Asia and worth a few extra days if you have the time. You can easily get around by foot in the central parts to see a lot of landmarks like the Petronas towers, Kuala Lumpur tower, The Bird Park or Chinatown. Chinatown has a night market well worth a visit. If you have a few hours to spare get in a cab and visit the majestic Batu caves just north of the city.
