LAKE MANYARA After around 2 hours driving from Arusha we got to the Lake Manyara Park, it is located just to the north of the lake and offers a varied landscape with lots of elephants, giraffes, Impalas, Monkeys, Birds, Zebras and other animals. It is a nice soft start for a safari with this relative small park. Our accommodation was on a ridge just north of the park with stunning views over the park and we had to be sure to lock our balcony door because of monkeys raiding the rooms.
