MALAPASCUA DIVING Malapascua diving is famous for the Thresher Shark and this is why most divers come here. Thresher Shark dives are done early morning around the sunken island Monad Shoal south east of Malapascua, we got lucky and saw around 6 of them swimming around us most of the dive. Reefs close to Malapascua are not so nice due to dynamite fishing but there are some really nice places a little further away from the island like Gato Island or Kalanggaman island. Gato Island is a great 2 dive day trip with a nice reef and a cave with some Reef Sharks in, Kalanggaman island is very beautiful island with a world class beach and wall dives around it.
