YUCATAN, MEXICO Getting to the Yuctan peninsula is convenient as there are many flight to Cancun. We wanted to do some diving, go sight seeing and do some serious relaxing. From Cancun we got a taxi to Playa del Carmen to catch a boat to Cozumel, stayed there a week and enjoyed the second week in Tulum with some great sight seeing and a fantastic beach. PRACTICAL When to go: Dec-Apr, we went in February. Getting there: Cancun international airport. Money: Pesos or USD. Other: Tipping is US style, 20-25% in restaurants. COZUMEL TULUM
