SERENGETI Serengeti is probably the most famous park in Africa and that is for a reason, it is huge and you can drive around there for days seeing great wildlife, vegetation varies from grasslands to more jungle like areas, we got to see lots of lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos, ostriches, hyenas, zebras, buffalos and much more. We would not recommend going here without a guide if you are not a safari expert, the guides communicate via radio all the time sharing information about where the interesting animals are, you can listen to their radio channel but will have no idea what references they are using so the information is useless for you. We spent 2 nights in the park at a very nice accommodation, you can sit by the pool watching elephants walking around below you, and waking up hearing lions roaring outside your window is a special feeling. Don´t miss out on the early morning safari tours, we found those to be the most rewarding.
