SHIMOKITAZAWA Southwest of Shibuya is the small neighbourhood of Shimokitazawa, a favourite area for students and hipsters, with vintage shops, hairdressers, flower shops, restaurants and bars. Shimokitazawa is as trendy as Harajuku but much more quiet and laid back. The houses are not as high, the streets are narrow and car free in this cute little area.
