SIMILAN ISLANDS LIVEABOARD Similan is located 90 km west of Khao Lak and the area offers the best scuba diving in Thailand, reefs are in good shape and the water is usually very clear. The most convenient way to dive here is on a liveaboard boat, trip are usually from 3 to 5 days and usually covers the Similans, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and sometimes Richelieu rock.
