STREYMOY Streymoy is the largest and most populated of the Faroe islands, it has dramatic landscapes with mountains and fjords, also the capital Tórshavn is located here in the south. If you stay in Tórshavn you’ll see big parts of Streymoy when traveling to the other islands. We went up in the north of Streymoy to visit Saksun, a remote hillside village with a few small houses and a church, situated in a beautiful valley by the fjord and a delicate waterfall.
