THAILAND, WESTERN ISLANDS When planning a trip to Thailand or any other place you have to find the balance between seeing many places and also be able to relax on your vacation, this time it was all about scuba diving so a few days on Phi Phi Islands combined with a double liveaboard boat trip around Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, Richelieu rock, Koh Haa, Hin Daeng and Hin Muang was a perfect plan. PRACTICAL When to go: For the Thai west coast Nov-Apr is OK, Feb-Mar is the best, we went in December. Getting there: Phuket or Krabi airport or via Bangkok. Money: Thai Bhat. Other: You might get discount on accommodation in mid-season.
